PROFESSIONAL PROFILE DESCRIPTION
Starting from the idea, the narrative trigger or the foreshadowing of a story, the screenwriter is an author who imagines the film by means of a written text.
He/she presides over the writing phase of an audiovisual work, translating a narrative into a story through images. If necessary, during the production phase, the screenwriter adapts the script to the shooting requirements in collaboration with the director.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The training programme is aimed at the development of a short. film writing project – from the development of the idea to the actual writing of a screenplay – through a theoretical-practical methodology that guarantees the understanding and development of the fundamentals of film language.
Through the writing of a short fiction film, the course programme will address topics such as dramaturgical structure, character development and dialogue writing.
