Matteo Oleotto
He graduated as an actor in 2001 from the Nico Pepe Civic Academy of Dramatic Art in Udine and as a director in 2005 from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. He works in television as a director for Rai and various private broadcasters (La7, Italia 1, Sky1, Fox).
He filmed his debut movie in 2013, ZORAN IL MIO NIPOTE SCEMO, which won more than 50 awards, including the Critics' Week Award at the Venice International Film Festival and the Globo d’Oro for Best Debut.
The film was distributed in 39 countries across all five continents. In 2018, he directed 12 episodes of the series VOLEVO FARE LA ROCKSTAR, which aired on Rai2. In 2019, he directed a TV movie MAI SCHERZARE CON LE STELLE, which aired on Rai1. In 2020, he directed 8 episodes of the second season of the series VOLEVO FARE LA ROCKSTAR, again on Rai2. In 2021, he directed two TV movies, TUTTA COLPA DELLA FATA MORGANA e SE MI LASCI TI SPOSO, both aired on Rai1.
